Major League Gaming, ESPN and Microsoft team up
50 lucky gamers get the chance to try out Halo 2. And they didn't pirate it!

Professional video game league Major League Gaming (MLG), has partnered with ESPN Cold Pizza and Microsoft to gamers an opportunity to play Halo 2 before its retail release on November 9. On November 4, 50 lucky winners will be invited to ESPN Zone in New York Citys Times Square, where they will have a chance to experience the multiplayer combat of Halo 2 with some of the best MLG professional players in the world.
"We are delighted to join with ESPN Cold Pizza and Microsoft Game Studios and be first to offer Halo 2 to competitive gamers," said Michael Sepso, chief executive officer of MLG. "We are thrilled Halo 2 will be part of the 2005 MLG Season and look forward to receiving a preview of that excitement live on Cold Pizza."
More than 7,000 people entered the promotion for a chance to play Halo 2 before it hits store shelves on November 9.
