World Snooker Championship 2005
By:
Its been years since Ive made time to enjoy a good game of pool. In fact, Id be the first to admit that I am somewhat scrubby at it as of late. Hopefully by the time World Snooker Championship 2005 arrives on the PSP next year, my skills will be back in shape.
Earlier this week, Sega Europe signed a deal with Blade Interactive Studios, the developers working on the upcoming digital pool project for Sonys new system. However, the game will also be available for the PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC platforms as well.
Currently, no major details have been released, however pool enthusiasts and newcomers alike can look forward to a challenging experience. Snooker 2005 will feature all of the latest professional players on the circuit, structures, tournaments and venues, thanks to the licensing rights of World Snooker Ltd. Although I must admit watching a game of pool cant possibly be exciting. But take a look at those screens, theyre almost as sexy as the sexy vixen thats missing in the package. Maybe her role is still under development.
"We are delighted to be working with Blade, who have created one of the best sports sims in the industry," said Mike Hayes, Managing Director, SEGA Europe Ltd. "The quality of World Snooker Championship is not in doubt, and at SEGA we plan to capitalise on this to create strong sales for the title."
I'll be waiting at the virtual bar until new updates become available.
