Hip-hop fans looking for alternative ringtones should take note of The Source Mobile Channel, a new ringtone product announced today by Hudson Entertainment. This catalog offers a bevy of ringtones, in addition to a wealth of other forms of intriguing content aimed at the North American hip-hop market and abroad.

Fans can check out the latest news in the scene, download wallpaers or test their knowledge of hip-hop trivia. Select trivia game contests will also include prizes for winners. Hudson will be offering different feature sets on 38 handsets; check with your wireless carrier to see if and how your phone is supported.

The Source is currently available on select phones from Midwest Wireless, NTELOS, and Verizon Wireless with more carriers being added in the next 30 days.
