Nintendo DS conference to be held next month

Nintendo has announced it will be holding a press conference for its forthcoming handheld, the Nintendo DS on October 7. As of now, the only information known is that Nintendo president Satoru Iwata and videogame legend, Shigeru Miyamoto will both be present. Reports suggest they will be answering questions and releasing new information about their new handheld. This may be their substitute for not attending this year’s Tokyo Game Show, an event Nintendo has opted out since 2002. More to come as this story develops.
