We hope you have some cash stored away. Tomorrow marks a pivotal date for several highly anticipated releases (see: Star Wars Battlefront, Tiger Woods PGA Golf 2005). Tomorrow, prepare to throw down with Def Jam: Fight for New York, the second installment to the hit Def Jam Vendetta. Def Jam FIGHT for NY thrusts players onto the mean streets of New York amidst a brutal battle for control of the citys hip hop underground. With a cast of more than 40 hip hop artists and celebrities from Def Jam and other prominent music labels in the game, players will come face to face with dozens of raps biggest names, including Busta Rhymes, Ludacris, Ice T, Lil Kim, Method Man, Redman and Snoop Dogg.
Featuring five customizable fighting styles, 20 highly-interactive venues, 10 gameplay modes, 70 playable characters and dozens of weapons, Def Jam FIGHT for NY delivers a gritty, over-the-top street fighting experience deep within the Def Jam universe. The game also features a new create-a-fighter mode allowing gamers to customize their combatant with licensed hip hop gear from 12 authentic brands like Ecko, Phat Farm, Def Jam University, Brand JORDAN, a division of Nike, Inc., Rocawear, and more. Players can even outfit their character with bling from jeweler to the stars, Jacob the Jeweler.
